IDRC 2014 Bandimere SpeedwayOn Sunday, June 8, 2014, Import Drag Racing Circuit/Street Tuner Mayhem made its annual stop at Bandimere Speedway in Morrison, Colorado. IDRC is an event geared toward import cars and domestic sport compacts (FWD or AWD with 4 or 6 cylinders). This year’s event consisted of drag racing by class (super stock, super mod, street bike, heads-up), the JDM Chemicals car show judged by INSTAFAME on behalf of DSPORT Magazine, and temperamental weather. Attendees started arriving early for the 8:00 a.m. gate opening, and racing started promptly afterwards. Unfortunately, the racing didn’t last too long before the unpredictable Colorado weather rained on the IDRC parade. The first set of showers came in and halted racing around lunchtime, but didn’t stick around for long before the sun came back out. The track was dried and re-prepped for an extra little bit of racing, but was short lived as the rain came back again. Regardless, there was a great showing of unique builds and various styles of the #ModLife.
